Hey guys, some big news, at least as it relates to this little website here. I've landed a part-time gig writing for a Lost blog. Yeah, seriously. It even pays a small but nonetheless tangible sum of money (so shhhh...nobody tell them that last year I was doing it on my own for free).
I can't double-post my stuff on here because apparently Google gets mad at you whenever the same thing is posted in two different places, although I will be linking to it. It just means my episode recaps won't be showing up on this site - but it also means I'll be writing even more than I used to, and not just recaps but news, theories, everything. Daily.
Check it out on DailyLOST.com.

Well I'm not too sure how I feel about you abandoning yet another aspect of your website, but way to go on finding a "job" that involves Lost. You're still killing me with those spoilers though, even though I did manage to avoid them in the article. You don't know how hard I've had to fight these past few weeks to avoid spoilers.
As far as the episode in question is concerned: two thumbs up. I loved it. I was glad they didn't start with a crazy/awesome beginning like before because I feel like everyone was expecting it too much this time around. There wouldn't have been as much shock. Also that meant that Hurley (probably my favorite character) got his own fantastic episode.
Most all of the episode was pretty great I thought. It was stupid that Niomi was still alive and apparently able to set up a fake trail and climb a tree. I guess it was necessary but a little contrived that the boat people suddenly couldn't track the phone thing.
All the parts with Hurley and Claire involving Charley were about the saddest things in the world. And I really hated it that Hurley told stupid Bernard that he won the lottery. That was supposed to be Hurley's biggest secret and embarrassment. Something that made me sadder than anything about Charley dying was that he never got to learn for real about Hurley's money and apologize about not believing him.
The whole episode was great, but I think the best part by far was when Hurley found Jacob. That was crazy and terrifying and awesome. Who really knows what could be going on there?
One last thing. The apparently six people who got rescued are not all in the same camp at the end of that episode. Very strange. I guess that probably means they're going to join back up pretty soon.
