First of all: happy Thanksgiving. After dinner last night, I excused myself from the table and my relatives and passed out on my bed for fifteen minutes. They say the tryptophan thing is a myth - it would take thirty pounds of turkey for it to actually make you tired, or something - so apparently I just ate way more than I was used to. It was splendid.Onto the business side...we put a record EIGHT spotlight interviews up on TheCinemaSource - and we had them all uploaded by late Tuesday night, too. Hopefully that sort of punctuality becomes the rule, not the exception. We haven't slouched on reviews either - we've got everything except This Christmas, because really, who cares about This Christmas?
(I just checked and it actually scored really solid box office numbers on Wednesday, but we'll pretend that's not true.)
To the wealth of material, I contributed spotlights on Stephen King, Andre Braugher, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and I wrote reviews for I'm Not There and Hitman. And neither of them - gasp - are positive reviews!
I have a feeling I'll be in the minority on I'm Not There, but it did nothing for me. On the other hand, The Mist, which I saw but did not review, is awesome. No joke. It looked completely uninteresting to me, and then I saw it and was blown away. Not what you're expecting. Extremely entertaining experience, with a killer ending. You should check it out.
