My links page is back! These are all of the sites I tend to go to, so in essence, it's like a portal into my brain. I know, quite the honor.

People I Know:

TheCinemaSource
The best movie site...ever. And not just because I work there, I swear.
The Tisch School of the Arts
My very own college, at NYU.
Funsized Studios
Some very cool short comedy films from a bunch of Vassar students.
My Mom's Site
Useless unless you're in her math classes, but I made the site, so humor me.
Nicole Kolinski's Home Page
Creating a website for a class still counts as creating a website.
Stuck Inside My TV
A TV blog from a friend in my department.
Dave Rocks the Universe
A random blog from a friend in my department.
Jeff and Heather
Somewhere in here you can find pictures of me.

Procrastination:

Facebook
The mother of all procrastination websites. And way better than MySpace.
Wikipedia
In a way, it's like a real Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
YouTube
You may have heard of it.
New York Times
You gotta get news somehow. This is where I go.
College Humor
Humor articles, funny photos, good links updated daily.
Alexa
Aside from searching, you can check out Web-wide site traffic rankings.
YTMND
Many brilliant minds at work...the next generation of art, really.
Yahoo Games
Have a few hours to kill?
Addicting Games
Have a few days to kill?
Lostpedia
Like wikipedia, only entirely Lost related.
Lost-Media
The best fan-run Lost site around...news, screencaps, plenty more.
Colbert Nation
The truth hurts. Fortunately for America, he's a masochist.
The Lonely Island
Lots of cool shorts from the guys responsible for the digital shorts on SNL.

Movies:

IMDb
The movie bible.
Box Office Guru
Weekly B.O. predictions and results.
RogerEbert.com
40 years of Ebert's reviews, plus his essays, interviews, etc.
Rotten Tomatoes
Compiles all major reviews to weigh consensus on each movie.
Ain't It Cool News
Lots of news and rumors for upcoming movies.
Dark Horizons
Lots of news for upcoming movies. Less obnoxious and biased than AICN.
OscarWatch
The best Oscar buzz site out there. Great active forum, too.
Apple Trailers
Great quality trailers for new & upcoming releases.
TheMovieBox
If you couldn't find the trailer on Apple, you'll find it on here.
Movie Pooper
Want to know how a movie ends? Go here.

Tools:

SparkNotes
The savior of so many college students.
Reference.com
Free dictionary and thesaurus that I use way too much.
Google Maps
Screw MapQuest.
Mozilla
Get Firefox, it's much better than Explorer.
Blogger
Because it's what I use.
Quality Host Online
Because it's hosting this very domain.

About

So this is my website...welcome.

It began as a little pet project in my freshman year of college at NYU, mostly to help me procrastinate instead of doing schoolwork. About a year ago I took it off the NYU homepage servers and gave it it's own domain name. A few months ago that became sort of a misnomer when I got an apartment in Brooklyn, but...whatever.

Now I'm in the midst of my senior year at NYU. I'm a screenwriting major in the Tisch School of the Arts. Since May I've had an internship writing movie reviews at the website www.TheCinemaSource.com, which is nice, because now instead of writing maybe one movie review a month for this site, I actually have the incentive to write a lot more.

I'm also kind of an Oscar-predictions freak and lately I've gotten really into some TV shows, courtesy of the genius that is ABC's Lost. So there are basically three parts to this site: updates and external links to all of the stuff I do for TheCinemaSource, episode commentaries on some random cool shows, and the occasional Oscar column where I update y'all on the awards race.

Now that it's using super-happy-easy blog software (while still maintaining it's own sense of renegade cool, of course) it's a lot easier to maintain than in the past, so I keep it pretty up to date, with a few updates each week.

I think that covers it, so there's only one thing left to say...a random screenwriting joke that you won't appreciate as much as me, but trust me, it's hilarious:

Q: Why did the protagonist cross the road?
A: Because he wanted to more than anything else in the world.
